JANAKPUR, April 7: An inmate of Jaleshwar Jail has escaped.
Mahottari police chief SP Prakash Malla said that Krishna Yadav of Loharpatti Municipality-9 of Mahottari, who was in custody pending trial in a murder case escaped from the jail and is absconding.

The prisoner ran away after being taken out of the prison for treatment at Dr Manoj Gupta's clinic, Janakpur, this afternoon.
The police who were working for security in the prison had brought him to Janakpur for treatment.
