Indian national arrested on charges of kidnapping and raping 10-year-old girl in Janakpur

JANAKPUR, Nov 2: Police have arrested an Indian national from Janakpurdam Sub-Metropolitan City-7 on charges of kidnapping and raping a 10-year-old girl on Monday.

JANAKPUR, Nov 2: Police have arrested an Indian national from Janakpurdam Sub-Metropolitan City-7 on charges of kidnapping and raping a 10-year-old girl on Monday.



According to the District Police Office (DPO) of Dhanusha, the arrested has been identified as Birendra Saha, 51, from Bhutahi-5 of Bihar Sitamadi District, India. He has been living in Brahmapura Chowk of Janakpurdam Sub-Metropolitan City-7 renting a room.

He has been charged of kidnapping a 10-year-old differently-abled girl and allegedly raping her.


A team of DPO, Dhanusha arrested Shah and rescued the minor from Shah’s room.


The police are investigating the case.
