KATHMANDU, March 4: A mega campaign to save nation, nationality, religion, culture and citizens’ led by a controversial medical entrepreneur, Durga Prasain was held at Maitighar in Kathmandu on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, March 4: A mega campaign to save nation, nationality, religion, culture and citizens’ led by a controversial medical entrepreneur, Durga Prasain was held at Maitighar in Kathmandu on Saturday. 



In the demonstration, the protestors raised slogans like ‘King should come and save the country’, ‘All hail Hindu nation’ and  ‘Abolish federalism’.

The Prasain-led campaign has appealed to the government to address their 13-point demands such as restoring Nepal as a Hindu nation, abolishing federalism, reducing bank interest rates and waiving loans up to Rs 2 million.


The campaign, which started from Jhapa some time ago with the presence of former king Gyanendra Shah, has spread across the country.
