IN PHOTOS: ANNISU-R stage torch rally against petroleum price hike

KATHMANDU, June 21: A group of students belonging to All Nepal National Independent Students Union- Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) affiliated to the CPN (Maoist Center) staged protests against recent hike in the prices of petroleum products on Tuesday.  The agitating students staged a torch rally in front of Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, June 21: A group of students belonging to All Nepal National Independent Students Union- Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) affiliated to the CPN (Maoist Center) staged protests against recent hike in the prices of petroleum products. The agitating students staged a torch rally in front of Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus in Kathmandu on Tuesday.



On Sunday, the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) decided to hike the price of petrol to Rs 199 per liter and diesel to Rs 192 per liter. NOC hiked the price of petrol by Rs 21 per liter and the prices of diesel by Rs 27 per liter.
