KATHMANDU, July 14: CPN (Maoist Center) MP Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said that the government should immediately withdraw the bill related to the Constitutional Council.

Recalling that the then KP Oli-led government had brought the ordinance and all the political parties from the current Prime Minister to the ruling party had opposed it, Shrestha said that the government should not bring a bill of the same essence.

He mentioned that it is not morally good when one thing is done while in government and another thing is done while in opposition. "We protested when the then Prime Minister KP Oli came up with an ordinance of the same essence," he said. "How can we bring a bill of the same essence now?"
