DHANGADI, June 19: A police team deployed by the District Police Office, Kailali has arrested the operator of an illegal furniture industry, along with illegal timber, from Hasuliya on Monday.
According to police, Ramkumar Chaudhary, 54, –the owner of Rambir Furniture Industry located in Kailali Rural Municipality-2– was arrested.

Inspector Khagendra Saud of the District Police Office said 106.51 kilograms of illegal firearms including 7 rounds of bullets and 18 rounds of ammunition were seized from Chaudhary. He has been fined Rs 1,70,000.
