KATHMANDU, June 24: South Africa advanced to the ICC T20 World Cup semifinals with a three-wicket victory over West Indies in Antigua. Marco Jansen and Kagiso Rabada led the chase, overcoming strong bowling from Roston Chase and Alzarri Joseph.



South Africa's unbeaten run in the Super Eights ensured their semifinal spot, finishing with three wins. England also advanced, while hosts West Indies were eliminated.

Chasing a revised target of 123 in 17 overs, South Africa faced early setbacks but recovered with key contributions from Tristan Stubbs and Klaasen. Jansen sealed the win with a six in the final over, finishing at 124/7.


Brief Score: West Indies 135/8 (Roston Chase 52, Tabraiz Shamsi 3/27) lost to South Africa 124/7 (Tristan Stubbs 29; Roston Chase 3/12).
