MADHYABINDU, Nov 28: Chairman of Janata Pragatisheel Party and former minister, Hridayesh Tripathi, has said he was not defeated in politics although he was defeated in the election.
Tripathi alleged that the CPN-UML which was in the electoral alliance did not assist him. Tripathi was a candidate for House of Representatives member from Nawalparasi East with the support of the UML.

However, Tripathi lost the election to Nepali Congress candidate Binod Chaudhari. Following the defeat in the election, he organized a press meet and said that he would remain active for the rights and service of people.
