KATHMANDU, Aug 11: Today's meeting of the House of Representatives has been postponed due to a protest by the main opposition party, the CPN-UML.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire allocated time to lawmaker Jwala Kumari Sah to speak after CPN-UML lawmakers obstructed the meeting, rising from their seats.

She demanded the formation of a high-level probe committee to investigate the recent gold scam. Speaker Ghimire postponed the meeting after UML lawmakers continued their obstruction and chanted slogans.
The HoR will next meet at 1:00 PM on August 14.
