Home Minister Nidhi directs security chiefs to maintain law and order

KATHMANDU, Feb 14: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi has directed the chiefs of security agencies to maintain law and order and curb social crimes.

KATHMANDU, Feb 14: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi has directed the chiefs of security agencies to maintain law and order and curb social crimes.



In a meeting with the chiefs of security agencies held in Sinha Durabr on Tuesday Home Minister Niddhi directed them to this effect.

Dr. Dinesh Chandra Pokharel and Singha Bahadur Shrestha, who were assigned new responsibilities only yesterday, had reached Singh Durbar this afternoon.


 Nidhi directed them to carry out their responsibilities taking the border and internal security into consideration, especially toward curbing gold smuggling, drug trafficking and social crimes.
