HIMS wins swimming

KATHMANDU, Sept 14: Himalayan International Model Higher Secondary School (HIMS) on Wednesday secured top finish in the Kathmandu District Inter-school Swimming Championship held at the Dhumbarahi Swimming Pool.

KATHMANDU, Sept 14: Himalayan International Model Higher Secondary School (HIMS) on Wednesday secured top finish in the Kathmandu District Inter-school Swimming Championship held at the Dhumbarahi Swimming Pool.



HIMS collected 76 points to finish ahead of second placed John Dewey School which wrapped up with 50 points.



Similarly, Pathsala secured third place finish trailing to John Dewey by four points.



Tenzing Dolma of John Dewey was declared the best player in girls' category with five golds and a silver medal and Nimesh Budathoki of Princeton took home the same award in boys' section.



Nimesh finished with three gold medals and a silver.



The day-long event saw participation of 128 swimmers from 31 schools.
