The seventh edition of Himalayan Outdoor festival concluded on Sunday. Himalayan Outdoor Festival is the brainchild of a passionate group of long time climbers, trail runners, mountain bikers, and event managers based here in Kathmandu Valley.
Third edition of 'Himalayan Art Festival' concludes
According to the press statement released by Himalayan Outdoor Festival, the three-day festival welcomed professional as well as amateur outdoor athletes from all over Nepal and around the world to converge upon the trails, rocks, and downhill slopes to compete in three main sports: trail running, rock climbing, and mountain biking.
It added that the atmosphere around the event venue was relaxing for the spectators and supporters. Numerous other activities that took place during the festival including dyno competition, slackline, mini ziplines, pump track, TNF outdoor training and horizontal bungee, among others.
Half of the revenue generated from the race registration fee for Night Run contributed to a running club in Sindhupalchowk while the other half contributed to raise funds to represent Nepal at World Bicycle Forum, 2018 in Peru, read the press statement.
