KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli have agreed to convene a meeting of the high-level political mechanism on Thursday.

Sources said the meeting will hold discussion in detail on the new presidential candidate.
Chairman Dahal on Wednesday visited Balkot to meet Chairman Oli, who is also the coordinator of High Level Political Mechanism. In the same meeting, Prime Minister Dahal said that he will call a meeting of the High Level Political Mechanism on Thursday to discuss the presidential candidate.
