Hetauda cement industry resumes operation after two weeks

MAKWANPUR, Feb 24: Hetauda Cement Industry that remained closed for the past two weeks has resumed today following the supply of coal. The industry shut its operation due to lack of coal, said the industry management.

MAKWANPUR, Feb 24: Hetauda Cement Industry that remained closed for the past two weeks has resumed today following the supply of coal. The industry shut its operation due to lack of coal, said the industry management.



Although it has called a bidding for the supply of 8,000 metric tonnes of coal, only 1,600 metric have been supplied, according to the industry's Deputy General Manager Nabin Kumar Karna.

Coal is being supplied from India, Bhutan, Indonesia and Pakistan. Karna said that the amount supplied would last only 15 days.
