Monsoon clouds are predicted to cause heavy rainfall in Province No 1, Province No 2 and most parts in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, shared Aryal.

Monsoon-induced disasters such as landslides, flood and inundation are likely due to the heavy rainfall. Hence, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has called for necessary precaution against possible disasters in the vulnerable areas.

Currently, the country is experiencing generally cloudy to completely cloudy weather. Light rainfall is being witnessed in a few parts of Province 1 and Gandaki Province, the Department said.
