KATHMANDU, May 28: Former Chairman of Bibeksheel Sajha Party, Ujjwal Thapa is undergoing treatment with ventilator support.

According to Thapa's family and friends, doctors kept him on a ventilator some 24 hours ago after his health deteriorated further. His health is said to be ‘critical’ now.
Doctors said Thapa has tested positive for COVID-19. Lately, he has also been suffering from pneumonia. His family is preparing to shift him from Grande Hospital to Medicity Hospital for further specialized treatment.
