KATHMANDU, Nov 9: The government has decided to establish a Nepali Embassy in Portugal and recommend Shanil Nepal as the ambassador.
Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma said that the Cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to establish a Nepali Embassy in Portugal according to the decision of the government to open a residential embassy in the European country.

At present, Nepal has 40 diplomatic missions - 30 residential embassies, three permanent missions and seven consulate generals - abroad in various countries.
