Chairperson Oli, who is also a former prime minister, called the government and the ruling coalition "regressive" and accused them of trying to destabilize the country. Inaugurating the party ward conventions across the country on Saturday through virtual media, he also claimed that the government has been pushing the country toward anarchy after coming to power three months ago.

He also expressed outrage that the ruling five-party alliance was serving the reactionary forces by destroying the communist movement. "The reactionary forces are working to destabilize the country," Oli said. “It's been a period of three months - we've seen acts like pushing the country into instability, disrupting and preventing progress, imposing arbitrariness, indiscipline and anarchy from the government, and it's the opposite way."
