Govt for independent judiciary: Minister Karki

BIRATNAGAR, Oct 30: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has said that the government is in favor of the independence of the judiciary.

BIRATNAGAR, Oct 30: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has said that the government is in favor of the independence of the judiciary.



Talking to media persons at the Biratnagar Airport this morning, Minister Karki said that the government is committed to maintaining and consolidating the people's trust in the dignity of the Supreme Court. Emphasizing the need for stability and sustainable development in the country, Minister Karki expressed the view that the government would work according to the wishes of the people.

He also made it clear that the leadership of the government of Province 1 would be as decided by the ruling alliance.
