KATHMANDU, April 7: The government has decided to declare Padam Bahadur Limbu, who lost his life in the course of protest against the naming of Province 1 as Koshi, as a martyr.

A cabinet meeting held on Friday decided to declare Limbu a martyr and provide support to the family from the state.
Limbu, who was injured during the protest on March 19, died at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences while undergoing treatment.
