Govt decides to recall Subedi from ADB Headquarters

KATHMANDU, June 15: The government has decided to recall Alternative Director of Asian Development Bank (ADB), Dr Som Lal Subedi.

KATHMANDU, June 15: The government has decided to recall Alternative Director of Asian Development Bank (ADB), Dr Som Lal Subedi. A cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to send Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, Ram Sharan Pudasaini in his place. Subedi had quit the post of chief secretary to join the post of Deputy Executive Director in the ADB Headquarters in Manila.

The cabinet meeting on Thursday also decided to appoint former president of FFNJ Dr Mahendra Bist as the chairman of Nepal Television and Harihar Adhikari Shyamal as the executive director of Rastriya Samachar Samiti, the national news agency.
