KATHMANDU, March 20: The government has banned long distance vehicles from plying the roads from March 23 until further notice due to coronavirus outbreak fears.

KATHMANDU, March 20: The government has banned long distance vehicles from plying the roads from March 23 until further notice due to coronavirus outbreak fears. 



Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli made the announcement during his televised state address today evening.

PM Oli said that all the government offices except those which run essential services will remain closed from March 23 to April 3. Oli also urged the private organizations to shut their offices during this period. "I urge the private organizations to allow your staffers work from homes," he said.
