The focus of scrutiny lies on the High-impact Community Development Project Deal signed during the recent visit of Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar. This accord has sparked controversies and raised concerns among the general public in the past few days.

Prime Minister Dahal, addressing the committee, sought to allay fears, emphasizing that the agreement does not empower India to unilaterally select and execute projects. The Prime Minister underscored a collaborative approach in the implementation of the projects outlined in the deal.
