Govt approves appointment standard for health institutions

KATHMANDU, Dec 1: The way to make appointments in various subordinate bodies of the Health Ministry as Hospital Development Committee, Academy and Council has been paved after the approval of the appointment standard.

KATHMANDU, Dec 1: The way to make appointments in various subordinate bodies of the Health Ministry as Hospital Development Committee, Academy and Council has been paved after the approval of the appointment standard. 



In a bid to make the appointments under the Ministry more effective and systematic, Minister for Health, Gagan Thapa, had submitted the appointment standard before the government. 

The institutes as Karnali Institute of Health Sciences, Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences, Patan Academy of Health Science were waiting for the appointments of officials for long. 



With the standard in place, the performance contract is signed with the appointed ones.



Similarly, minimum educational qualification is also required. 



The appointed officials cannot enjoy the double benefits. 



In line with the new standard, the Ministry appointed Narayan Dhakal as the Director General of the Department of Drug Administration while Dr Bhupendra Basnet as Director of Bir Hospital. RSS
