KATHMANDU, Aug 6: The government has issued an advertisement asking for applications for the positions of commissioners and members of constitutional bodies including the Auditor General.
The Constitutional Council has opened applications for posts of the Auditor General, Chief Election Commissioner of Election Commission, National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission, and Muslim Commission.
The Constitutional Council issued a public notice on Sunday seeking applications for a total of four posts.

According to the Constitutional Council, it is possible to apply for more than one post.
The Council has asked Nepali nationals who are eligible to be appointed to the constitutional bodies to fill and submit the application forms available on the website of the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers within 15 days with their applications.
On August 3, the Constitutional Council meeting decided to give a 15-day deadline for the appointment of auditor general, election commissioner, member of natural resources and fiscal commission and member of Muslim commission.
The meeting recommended Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha for the position of Chief Justice and decided to proceed with the appointment process in all four bodies.
The Constitutional Council also reached a consensus to appoint at least one member to these bodies within one month.
