Govt allows use of forest area for construction of Upper Trishuli 3B

KATHMANDU, June 29: The government has decided to allow the use of forest area for the construction of the 37 megawatts Upper Trishuli 3 B Hydropower Project.

KATHMANDU, June 29: The government has decided to allow the use of forest area for the construction of the 37 megawatts Upper Trishuli 3 B Hydropower Project. 



A Cabinet meeting held at Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar took a decision to this effect, said Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sher Bahadur Tamang.

A decision was also taken to provide additional Rs 70 million to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies for food supply. 


Also, the meeting agreed in principle to devise Bill related to work execution, supervision and coordination of Nepal Police and Provincial police, and Bill related to formation, operation and terms and conditions of Armed Police Force. It also agreed in principle to make laws related to the subject of establishing Bidhusi Yogmaya University.
