GORKHA, Oct 28: Khil Bahadur Rana, the ward chairman of Gorkha Municipality-5, has passed away. On Thursday evening, he collapsed and died all of a sudden.
According to CPN-UML Gorkha District Committee Secretary Kajiram Roka, Rana fell unconscious and was taken to Gorkha Hospital for treatment. The hospital said that Rana had died before he was brought to the hospital. Rana was elected as the ward chairman from the CPN-UML.

Secretary Roka said that the funeral of ward president Rana will be organized today. In the local elections held on May 13, Rana had won the post of chairman from Gorkha Municipality-5. He was also a member of UML Gorkha District Committee and a member of the Central Secretariat of the Youth Association of Nepal, the youth wing of the party.
