KATHMANDU, Dec 13: Global IME Bank has made an agreement on Tuesday with MetLife Insurance to provide its depositors and borrowers with life insurance. Issuing a statement, Global IME said that the joint program has been given the tagline of 'Bancassurance'.

According to the agreement, customers of the bank can purchase insurance policy, pay insurance premiums as well as get claims from all the branches of the bank throughout the country. The bank has been providing its services through 108 branches, 14 revenue collection counters and 125 ATMs across the country, added the statement.
