BHAIRAHAWA, Dec 30: A girl was murdered at Marchabari rural municipality-1 in Rupandehi district. The seven-year-old Nandani Kurmi was found dead at Marchabari-1 this morning.
According to the Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Rupandehi, Deputy Superintendent of Police Manohar Bhatta, the girl was missing since yesterday and the preliminary investigation showed that the girl was murdered.

Police have arrested a person suspecting his involvement in the crime. Further investigation into the incident is currently underway, Bhatta said.
