General Secretary Dr Koirala can be discharged after two days, says Doc

KATHMANDU, July 17: Nepali Congress General Secretary Dr Sashank Koirala could be discharged from the hospital after two days as his health was improving gradually, according to a doctor attending him at Om Hospital.

KATHMANDU, July 17: Nepali Congress General Secretary Dr Sashank Koirala could be discharged from the hospital after two days as his health was improving gradually, according to a doctor attending him at Om Hospital.



Dr Harish Joshi said, "Dr Koirala's health has improved. However, he is still in hospital for the intravenous feeding of medicine and should therefore be kept under doctors' observation. After two days, he will get complete course of medicine. So, he can be discharged thereafter."

Moreover, General Secretary Dr Koirala is taking normal meals, and the heart beat, blood pressure and amount of urine has come to normal condition.


After sudden chest ailment, General Secretary Dr Koirala was admitted at Om Hospital in the capital city on July 5 and getting treatment from intensive care unit. He was attended by a dozen of noted doctors. RSS
