DAMAK, Sept 13: The Gaurigunj bazaar in the district remains closed for two days in protest against the murder of a local textile trader Khemraj Poudel.

DAMAK, Sept 13: The Gaurigunj bazaar in the district remains closed for two days in protest against the murder of a local textile trader Khemraj Poudel. 



The Industry and Commerce Association Gaurigunj called a banda (strike) since Wednesday, demanding stern action against the murderer.

A local of Gaurigunj Rural Municiplity-6, Saddam Hussein has been arrested on the charge of murdering Poudel on September 11. Police are carrying out further investigating into the case.
