Seven persons arrested on charge of stealing motorcycles

RUPENDEHI, July 29: Police on Sunday arrested seven thieves on the charge of stealing motorcycles from Rupendehi.

RUPENDEHI, July 29: Police on Sunday arrested seven thieves on the charge of stealing motorcycles from Rupendehi.



The suspects arrested include Abdul Hamid Musalman, a local of Lumbini Cultural Municipality-11, Kalu Mallah, an inhabitant of Sudhodhan Rural Municipality-6, Gagan Gurung, Sammar Bahadur Thapa, Man Bahadur Bhandari, residents of Kanchan Rural Municipality-5, Om Prakash Rautar, a resident of Rural Municipality-4 and Dipak Chaudhary, a resident of Wanganga Municipality-10, according to Spokesperson for Rupandehi Police Office Dharma Raj Bhandari.

According to the Spokesperson Bhandari, they have seized 6 stolen motorcycles. The thieves were arrested while they were selling the stolen motorcycles on Rupendehi border.


An investigation into the incident is underway, informed Bhandari.
