TANAHUN, Jan 31: Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has stressed the need to keep technical education on priority.



Addressing the golden jubilee function of Tribhuvan Secondary School at Bhanu municipality-13 in Tanahun on Thursday, Dr Yadav noted that the technical and employment-oriented education should be mandatorily implemented in schools.

"Applied education with life skills is imperative", he underscored. Former joint general secretary of the Nepali Congress (NC) Govinda Raj Joshi urged all to put their efforts to develop own place.


Also speaking at the golden jubilee function presided over by school management committee chair Nawaraj Shrestha, various speakers including Bhanu municipality mayor Udaya Raj Gauli, NC Tanahun ex-President Raghunath Poudel and former lawmaker Urmila Thapa also stressed the ned to engage all sectors for the educational enhancement of the school.
