Former PM Bhattarai to undergo neuro-endocrine tumor surgery, to be hospitalized today

KATHMANDU, April 29: Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Federal Council of Janata Samajwadi Party Baburam Bhattarai is undergoing a neuro-endocrine tumor surgery.

KATHMANDU, April 29: Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Federal Council of Janata Samajwadi Party Baburam Bhattarai is undergoing a neuro-endocrine tumor surgery. 



The operation will be carried out under the leadership of Dr Subodh Adhikari of Bir Hospital. Chairman Bhattarai will be admitted to the hospital today. The operation will take place on Friday, April 30.

Earlier, he was at a hospital in Delhi, India for checkups. After biopsy, DOTA NOC test, PET CT scan and other tests, the doctors said that the tumor was not cancerous. The doctors suggested that the tumor be surgically removed at the earliest.


As per the doctor's suggestion, Chairman Bhattarai will undergo tumor surgery at Bir Hospital.
