KATHMANDU, Sept 22: Former Inspector General (IGP) of Nepal Police Sarbendra Khanal is going to join CPN-UML today.
CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli will introduce Khanal to the UML in a program organized at the party's central office in Chyasal today. Khanal met Oli in Balkot on Wednesday.

Sources said that Oli is ready to make Khanal a candidate from one of Bara, Parsa or Kathmandu.
Khanal was IGP when Oli served as the Prime Minister of Nepal.
