Foreign-employment frauds not acceptable: PM Dahal

KATHMANDU, March 23: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that foreign-employment frauds and a delay under any pretexts would not be acceptable whatsoever.

KATHMANDU, March 23: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that foreign-employment frauds and a delay under any pretexts would not be acceptable whatsoever. 



Inaugurating the social security scheme coverage of Nepalis at foreign jobs and self-employment in foreign lands amid a function here today, Prime Minister Dahal said now, “Troubling migrant workers will not be tolerated. Now, all will be honored. Your (Nepali migrant workers) contribution will be taken into account.”

Urging the line ministry to seek new opportunities and destinations for job opportunities for Nepali people, he said the labor agreement between Nepal and labor destination countries would be implemented in accordance with the past agreements. 


Issues like the welfare of Nepali migrant workers in foreign countries, taking initiatives to increase their facilities, and the quality benefits from this are the government’s priority, he said.
