Fire breaks out at Nepal Ice Beer plant in Nawalparasi

KATHMANDU, June 2: A fire broke out at the Nepal Ice beer plant owned by Chaudhary Group at Dumkauli of Nawalparasi.

KATHMANDU, June 2: A fire broke out at the Nepal Ice beer plant owned by Chaudhary Group at Dumkauli of Nawalparasi. Nepal Army, Armed Police Force and Nepal Police along with three fire trucks were deployed to control the fire today.



According to Dilip Kumar Giri, deputy superintendent of the district police office, the reason behind the ‘sudden and surprising’ fire incident is still unknown. He also said that the security and rescue personnel from Bharatpur district, Kawasoti Municipality and Khairahani Municipality have been trying to put the fire out since morning.

According to sources, the fire at the beer plant is yet to be brought under control completely. Also, the president of CG and former lawmaker Binod Chaudary has reached the scene.
