Anil with his family migrated to Pokhara from Sindhuli when he was 16. “At 19, I started rowing boat in Fewa Lake. Somehow due to some condition and also in pursuit of a better future, I went to Qatar for work. The pressure was high working in foreign land. After four years, I decided to come back and work here in peace,” said Anil. “These boats have earned me a livelihood for the past five years. I find peace working in my homeland,” he added.
