KATHMANDU, March 31: While expediting preparation of the budget for the fiscal year 2022/23, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) has operated a toll free number to collect budget related suggestions from general people.
According to the MoF, anyone can provide budget related suggestions to the ministry by calling at 1138 during the office hours. The ministry will also be soliciting the recommendations sent through its web portal [email protected].

Currently, the MoF has started budget related discussions with various stakeholders and experts including private sector, economists and professionals from banks and financial institutions, insurance, agriculture and education, among others. The ministry has asked interested people to send their suggestions by mid-April.
