Filmmaker Simon McQuoid is set to return for the follow-up to the 2021 action adventure ‘Mortal Kombat’.

According to reports, McQuoid has collaborated with New Line Cinema Production Company. Mc Quoid will direct the sequel from a screenplay written by Jeremy Slater, according to DEADLINE, an online media.


Earlier, McQuoid’s feature directorial debut ‘Mortal Kombat’ was released during April 2021 which became number one at box office ranks- among the top feature titles ever on HBO Max.
