Filipino held from TIA along with illegal money

KATHMANDU, Aug 25: Police have held a Filipino from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) along with a huge amount of money that he was attempting to take abroad illegally.

KATHMANDU, Aug 25: Police have held a Filipino from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) along with a huge amount of money that he was attempting to take abroad illegally.  



Deputy Inspector General of Nepal Police Kuber Kadayat said that the arrested has been identified as Arsino JR Mesa, 32.

Police recovered 3,000 US dollars and Rs 850,000 from the Filipino.


Police headquarters said that Arsino was scheduled to leave for Dubai from a flight of Fly Dubai.


Kadayat, who is also Nepal Police Spokesperson, said that the Filipino has been sent to the Department of Revenue Investigation (DRI) for further legal actions and investigation purposes.
