KATHMANDU, June 29: In a tragic incident outside the US consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, two individuals, including a Nepali security guard, lost their lives in a fatal shooting. According to Al Jazeera TV, the other victim is learnt to have been the gun-toting armed assailant.
On Wednesday, both US and Saudi Arabian officials confirmed the occurrence of the incident, while an investigation is currently underway, as per Al Jazeera's sources.

The assailant, who was driving a car, approached the US consulate building in Jeddah before opening fire. None of the US officials were harmed during the shooting.
