Family members of Pokhara plane crash victims asked to submit claims for compensation within 35 days

KATHMANDU, June 6: A 35-day notice has been issued to the relatives of the victims of Yeti Airlines plane crash in Pokhara to claim compensation.

KATHMANDU, June 6: A 35-day notice has been issued to the relatives of the victims of Yeti Airlines plane crash in Pokhara to claim compensation.



The family of 18 victims of the air accident that occurred on January 15, 2023 submitted an application for compensation. The airline company has asked to submit any claims and objections to the applications received so far.

The airline has asked concerned family members and relatives to contact the Bakhundole-based Pradhan & Associates Pvt. Ltd., the legal practitioner appointed by the airline within 35 days for the compensation claim.


On January 15, Yeti Airlines ATR 72-9N-ANC flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara met with an accident. As many as 72 people, including 15 foreign tourists, died in the crash.
