"Experience from conflict times will help operating government"

KATHMANDU, Dec 8: CPN-UML Maoist Center's Purna Bahadur Gharti has been elected as the member of Provincial Assembly at province Rukum-2 'A'.

KATHMANDU, Dec 8: CPN-UML Maoist Center's Purna Bahadur Gharti has been elected as the member of Provincial Assembly at province Rukum East-2 'A'.  



Gharti ousted Nepali Congress's Datta Bahadur Basnet by 2705 votes. CPN-UML candidate gathered total 5816 votes whereas Basnet was limited to 3111.



The newly elected provincial assembly member assured his experience during the civil war as the chief of people's government will help operating the new government according to the trust and responsibility provided by his party during the elections. He stated to work for justice and development of the people.



Gharti stated the roadway from potential capital of province no. 5 Dang to proposed headquarter Rukumkot to be on his primary priority along with quality education, health, employment, agriculture, tourism, etc.
