Energy Minister assures of local elections at the earliest

PAANCHTHAR, Feb 4: Minister for Energy Janardan Sharma today assured that the local level elections will be held soon. 



At a press conference held by Press Centre, Paanchthar this morning at Phiddim, Minister Sharma said the election will be held by April/May. 



He said the Election Commission has already begun preparations to hold the elections and shared his belief that the date would be announced at the earliest. 



The government has prioritized the constitution implementation along with the election process. He said the political impasse would end after seeking a conclusion to the amendment proposal at the Parliament through 'the process'. 



On the different note, he emphasized the need for everyone's support in Bright Nepal Campaign launched by the Energy Ministry. RSS
