BAGLUNG, Nov 23: CPN (Maoist Center) candidate and Education Minister Devendra Paudel has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Baglung-2.
Paudel was elected as MP for the second term after defeating Manju Sharma Chalise of CPN-UML by a margin of 4,599 votes.

Paudel, who was elected MP in 2074, secured 24,779 votes this time. His nearest rival, Manju Sharma Chalise of CPN-UML obtained 20,180 votes.
