KATHMANDU, March 31: Editor of Republica English Daily Subhash Ghimire has been awarded Madan Bhandari Memorial Award on Sunday.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli handed over the award to editor Ghimire along with senior journalist Hari Prasad Joshi during the 21st founding anniversary of Reporters Club Nepal amid a function in the capital.

The award carries a purse of Rs 50,000 each. The Club decided to award Ghimire for his outstanding contribution to the enhancement of professional journalism in Nepal.
