The Election Commission (EC) has urged all the stakeholders concerned including the leaders of the political parties not to make confusing statements regarding the election.

Talking to media persons, EC Spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel said that the conflicting statements made by political leaders regarding the election had drawn their attention as the preparations for holding the local elections have reached the final stage.            


Spokesperson Sharma said that the EC is monitoring incidents of violation of election code of conduct and that necessary action is being taken against the violators.
