KATHMANDU, Feb 15: A book titled Krishi Udyam Dekhi Jal Vidyut Samma written by Moti Lal Dugad, executive chairman of MV Dugad Group and a multi-faceted eminent industrialist and businessman, was launched on Sunday at Hotel Marriott.

The book was jointly launched by the renowned senior social worker and Founder President of Maiti Nepal, Anuradha Koirala and renowned Ophthalmologist Dr Sanduk Ruit, who has been continuously providing services to eye patients. The book launch program was concluded in the presence of former Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Bijay Nath Bhattarai, Senior Gynecologist Dr Bhola Rijal, President of Society of Economic Journalists Nepal (SEJON) Janardan Baral and others.
According to a statement issued by the company, in the book, the author has explained about what kind of trades his ancestors had done at that time and how the Dugad family started spreading its business from Mechi to Mahakali. The book has been edited by poet and writer Pramod Pradhan.
