Deuba will be next PM of Nepal: Dahal

KATHMANDU, July 6: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed confidence that the Supreme Court will reinstate the dissolved parliament and President of Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba will be the next Prime Minister (PM) of Nepal.

KATHMANDU, July 6: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed confidence that the Supreme Court will reinstate the dissolved parliament and President of Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba will be the next Prime Minister (PM) of Nepal.



Dahal, who was in Janakpurdham to pay his last tributes to the party’s central member Mahadev Yadav expressed such confidence on Tuesday. “The House of Representatives will be reinstated and Deuba will be the next PM.”

Dahal also maintained that there are some amendments to be made to the constitution.


The case of HoR dissolution is currently sub-judice at the apex court. The verdict on the case is expected on July 12.
